You will love it. Been up in the Don Pedro area a few years now. If you haven't been down to the Lake Don Pedro Golf Course club house for BF , lunch, or dinner they are great!! I recommend the bacon burger or the meatloaf!! they also have all-you-can-eat buffets on fridays.

That goes without saying!!!! nothing like getting a little pre-fishing in after work!!!! I really like getting up only 30 minutes before check in!!!!!

Watch out for the Rattlesnakes, bad this year, I just killed a big one with 7 rattles in my back yard this afternoon 5-4-09 . Just after planting a bottle brush plant, went back into garage to get a dripper for the water line, walked back out and there she/he was holy crap !!

Welcome neighbor! Wife and kids have been here for four years now. 3.5 miles from Barrets Cove, 6.5 miles from Fleming, can't beat that! Started out first year with an annual permit to McClure, great lake, great fishing. Bought one to Pedro second year, like Pedro alot more, just more to do besides fishing; camping on the lake, Fourth of July fireworks show, good stuff. Kids love the the swimming lagoon in the summer time, mid week it's like you've got the place to yourself. Like Phil says, be careful of the snakes on your property. If you can make it through the summers (HOT-HOT)......you've got it made! cya around
