Check out this fish on a powell bass rod...

My nieghbor got this thing last night on a powell jig rod while we were striper fishing. It was 6 ft long! had 20lb P line fluoro.

And here I spend hours in the rain on the water targeting that prehistoric beast and you whack him with what?

Believe it or not it only took about 15 mins to land it! Hooked it pulled anchor and ripped down river got it next to the boat, No net ofcourse.. So me and my friend scooped it up with our arms.. Crazy day.

It took us about a 1/4 mile down river.
