Anyone watch Ike kick his Lowrance unit today?

Post by Hollywood »

Watching Bassmasters right now that was recorded this morning.

What a comedy today.

Aaron crying every time the camera is on him and then Ike kicking his Lowrance unit a few times!

No laying on the deck and kicked it with the back of his foot! Definitely something to watch for a laugh! lol! I love it when Ike looses fish and some local is on Aaron's water. makes for a great show. But skeet catching big one after big one was cool but not as exciting to watch!

way to go espn for bringing the drama of the tour into my living room!

Yes, that was a good show and I was looking forward to this one since I knew Aaron had won...
BASS does a GREAT job on the Elite series shows and I look forward to seeing them.

BTW...When I seen Ike kick his Lowrance I was like "ok, he has truly lost it"

I know I carry it too far, but everytime Ike comes on anything or a show, I mute or change channels on him. Just plain do not like to watch him at all anymore, because you just know he will do something or yell or say something, which just rubs me the wrong way, since he episode, way back when. Sorry but I just can not let it go. Many more fisherpeople to watch anyway. Bill K

Everyone always says : If you knew Ike he is a really nice guy" Sure everyone can be nice but he acts like an @ss way too much. There gotta be one in every sport. Look at Chad Johnson, I mean Ochocinco!

You gotta admit, he know's how to market himself. Without all the krap he does, you guys wouldn't be talking about him.....

I dont know if its marketing or just pub... There is a guy named Miles Brand that feels even negative talk about a sport is good, which is apparently how Ike feels. Anyone heard of "The Law of Diminishing Return?" I dont know how much his tantrums help him or hurt him. But I do know I laugh at him when he does it, and its not because I think its funny

Its unfortunate because he can flat out catch fish..but he needs to lose the pirate goatee, the flatbill hat, and his Welcome back Kotter socks... I feel like I am watching and episode of "Tool Academy" everytime he makes the cut. I dread the day he sports the black socks, black shoes, khaki dickies, and an SMP basketball jersey...

Dang! So the one piece vertical striped denim zippered jumpsuits are a thing of the past? Please don't tell me that the sweet pimped out seats on top of the rod lockers are gone also? Arm rests on the front deack seat? How about the ole' Sparkletts caps on the hup caps to help keep da wahder out?

No more metal stringers? No more diamond tuck lounge seats on the front deck? No more ventilated trucker caps?

Anybody else disagree with the "local" who told aaron he wasnt going to move because he was pre-fishing for a tourney the next weekend. Im new to tournament bass fishing but if your pre-fishing a spot and a guy who is in a money tournament asks to fish that spot, shouldn't you let him?

Hate the player all you want, he is still fishing the Tour and your are still here commenting on how you dislike when he acts like an entertainer. The guy can fish. Whether or not your personal opinion make you bitter about his actions and attitude, there is never a reason to hate.
Every other sport on ESPN has its players talking **** and calling foul and acting like the next Big Shot. Everyone will bitch about Iverson or James or some other big athlete. Bass fishing has been on the ESPN schedule for several years now. A little bit of entertainer attitude can be expected. Not to say i always support it all, someties it bugs me too, but thats what appeals to audiences. Without the Ikes and Martins AND the Skeets and KVDs too, there would be no Elite Tour on ESPN. Its the reality of professional bass fishing now. The days of small time coverage and bass fishing as a completely underground sport are over. Take it or leave it, thats how the future of bass fishing will be, IMO.

Yeah I saw that too. He gave it a good kick and looked to have busted the mount, but later on the unit appeared to be ok. HAH Other than his dressing like a 17 year old skater and acting a fool, he is one hell of a fisherman. I noticed how he has that new thing too where he spits after losing a good fish. Each fish was good for 1-3 spits, either on his boat carpet or in the water. LOL

I disagreed with that guy staying there, but it all worked out. ( and if you noticed what kind of boat that feller was driving, I'm sure he felt he had all the rights in the world to stay there) lol

Or what he does to the big fish!

In Tennessee, a guy was fishing on one of the river lakes for trout, and having a pretty good day.
All of a sudden, a fish and game boat pulls up, and the Officer asks to check the livewell.
The Officer pulls out a trout, stick his finger up it's anus, and says, "This is a Tennessee trout. Do you have a Tennessee fishing license?"
The guy says yes, and pulls it out.
So the Officer goes back into the livewell, and pulls out another trout. He sticks his finger up the fish's anus, and says, "This is a Kentucky trout. Do you have a Kentucky fishing license"?
The guy says yes, and pulls his Kentucky license out.
So the Officer goes back into the livewell, and pulls out another trout. He sticks his finger up the fish's anus, and says, "This is a Oklahoma trout. Do you have a Oklahoma fishing license"?
The guy says yes, and pulls it out.
The Officer is really impressed, and asks the guy where he's from.
The guy stands up, turns around, drops his pants, bends over, spreads his cheeks, and say, "Why don't you tell me?"
Love ya BC.

I heard it said somewhere!

"Why doesn't Ike act like he has caught a F***in Bass before when he catch's one"!!!! As good of a fisherman as he is and all the good that he does, he makes me want to puke to watch him! It's just childish and imature!!!!!! I want to say "Why don't you just grow the F*** up??? JMHO!!!!

I probably would have let him have the spot but the local was well within his rights staying put.

If I am practicing for an event and Aaron Martens pulls up on the final day and asks if he can fish my spot....my practice is over. I know exactly where I am fishing when tourney day rolls around

Ike reminds me of some crack head on the corner spiting and yelling at no one in particular. What the hell is up with all the spiting? He has some mental problems big time. What's next for this guy, driving his boat into a sea wall or bluff because he looses a monster, eeerrrrr a 2 pound keeper? I thought he lost the classic with all the celebration crap while he could have been making 40-60 more cast during the day but what ever, crack kills!!!
