Fantastic lake for large and small mouth, just gotta hit it right. This time of year, throw blades, jerkbaits and senkos. Wacky rigged senkos around floating docks, blades and jerkbaits on points and wood. Gurbs or hulla grubs on darter heads works on the flats too. Good luck and let us know how you do

Pretty much what Mitch said except i'm not sure about the "fantastic" part but it can be pretty good.

Best baits for me are jerkbaits, chartreuse spinnerbaits, jigs and plastics. I don't think I have ever caught a topwater fish out there.

If you fish the trees make sure you get the bait up in there. Fish any banks/islands that have pea gravel. Fenceline by the inlet can be very good. Move around because some places just don't hold many fish. Don't bother fishing bare clay banks.
Concentrate more on the Southeast side of the lake working your way to the inlet.

The lake should be full but if its down it usually sucks.
