Float N Fly Setup

Post by westcoastbass »

Do any of you guys have a recommendation for a good float and fly setup? Rod Length, rod size, line size. Also I am looking to buy the SPRO phat flies, unless you guys know of a better fly. Any information helps!!
Thanks :D

Go to THEBBZ.com, or get in touch with Bill Siemantel, he's the guru at this technique. We were up at Lake Tejon last month and he showed a group of us his way...and yes, it was with the SPRO phat flies - I think he designed them. Had it down to a science where he would change bobber size when he changed the jig size. Tried it again 2 weeks later and we caught tons of fish!
