Difference between the cte-gt and conquest

Post by buddy brown »

I have both the conquest and the cte-gt which are supposed to be the same, but the conquests I have seem to cast farther and smoother. What is the difference between the two. A frivilous question but just want to know

Luna=The Bomb Shiznit....I own 2 of 'em...You're trippin' son

And you obviously haven't seen the new Pluton=Way better than Shimano.
What do you need a round baitcaster for anyway..You don't throw no swimbaits!:shock::shock::shock:
You can't dropshot on 0.5Lb test on those round reels dude :roll: :roll: :roll: ROFL

Furthermore....
They need a Daiwa forum on here too....Bunch of nazis! :shock:

:lol: all but 2 of my baitcastys are shimano round reels, namely cte-gt and conquests from 51 to 401 size, these reels are the best quality to me and will last a lifetime. Not bashing Diawa, all my spinning are certate and love these reels. 0.5 lb test? you crack me up man :lol:

Alex M.-

Go find a Daiwa forum and spread your blasphemous word there. This is the "Shimano Product Forum" in case you didn't read that. There is one on the Florida Sportsman website if you want a place to hang out and talk Daiwa. :roll:

Buddy-

The Conquest has lighter brake weights and might have ABEC 5 bearings stock. Maybe your CTE just needs service? The spools are identical as well as the frame.
