I was wondering if there is any launches, and/or public areas in the Black Creek area I could put in with my float tube? If so, are there charges involved?
I checked out the lake on Google Maps, and it looks like there's a couple spots, but I don't know if they're public or not.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Tulloch Launches?
Most of the launches in the Black creek area are private, as is most of the land around the lake. I did launch my tube at a private ramp a few years ago but I do not remember the name of it or its exact location. I did not get hassled but it was in February when the lake was not very crowded. Tulloch is a nice lake but it can be a pain in the *** to fish from a tube, especially in the summer with all the skiers
Re: Tulloch Launches?
Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Maybe I'll try to launch at some of the spots anyway. If they say something I'll take off.
I'm used to fishing around skiers and other pleasure boaters. I had to put up with them at virtually every lake I fished in MN.

Try Salt Spring's out of Coppollopolis off of Hwy 4... Call The "Spookman" for Info.

Yup!
Rich, I was out there on Monday. It was a good day. I've just been wanting to try Tulloch for awhile now. From looking at it on Google Maps, the Black Creek area looks pretty tasty. Thanks though. That is a good spot.
Although I'm not too keen on spending $15 every time I want to go there. But, from the sounds of it, most lakes have a fee to fish them in this state.

I lived in black creek for 8 years. theres the kvia but its too far from the good stuff. I used to park at black creek on coppercove drive and walk in. its a bit of a walk but worth it, theres a couple small holes in the creek loaded with fish too.
Re: Tulloch Launches?
Joe, Kiva Dr. was one of the spots I was thinking about. You say it's no good? The other was Conner Estates Dr. So is it better further up the the Black Creek area?
Are you talking about walking in to the creek itself or the after the creek comes into the lake?
