how long should it take to ??

Service reels??

I was thinking that the reels I dropped off had a 48hr turn around
Calais and Stella's

Well its been over a week now and no reels

You would think if there was a problem someone would call from Shimano and talk to you about it

Kirk, Bantam1 is out of service until the end of the month. I'm sure he'll take care of whatever the problem is as soon as he returns. It maybe he wants to see your reels himself when he returns? I don't know, but If you notice the time of his initial post it was 5am in the morning as he was leaving, so I doubt he had a chance to look into it then.

Come on Kirk, you know how we work, nothing has changed. Unfortunately, the timing of all this hurts, but I can gaurantee Bantam1 will do everything he can upon his return. If you need the reels asap please let me know and I will be happy to make a call for you.

We, either at Shimano, or ReelEx know how important each and every customer is to our business, and we strive to go over and above for each, but that doesn't mean we are perfect. So, please give Dan the benefit of the doubt, and an opportunnity to get involved here. I can assure you he will. In the meantime like I said, if I can be of any assistance please feel free to call me.

To answer your question though, yes those reels are platinum service reels, and would receive 48hr turnaround. This is why I think Bantam1 may have made a call before he left?

Thanks,

Dan Isaac

The Calais and Stella reels are supposed to be a 48 hour turn around time. The parts may be on back order or some other issue preventing the speedy repair. The technician should have contacted you. Your reels may already be done. PM me your info and I will look up your account.
