Bass-a-thon, a Western Tradition

Post by socalbasser »

Tony, will WesternBass Radio broadcast from this year's Bass-a-thon? It would be a nice touch.

It's a great idea but unfortunately I can't be there this year. The kids are kicking my butt too as they both qualified for the casting kids state championship that's being held during the Bass-a-Thon and I won't be able to get them there to compete. Bad Daddy to be sure.

Seriously, I have a commitment to film the Anglers Choice ProAm TOC at Clear Lake and sadly it's the same weekend as Bass-a-Thon which is killing me cause as you all know, there is simply no other place an angler should be then in Anaheim this weekend.

I really do wish there were more weeks in a year. There is so much I have to pick and choose and conflicts are everywhere on my schedule.

Tony, isn't there anyone else you can send in your place? I'm sure you can find someone like Gary Dobyns to fill in.

Radio Show From The Bass a thon

Post by JJCJR »

Big Tuna Bill, Stan and Hopalong John will be recording interviews with guests at the Bass a thone both Saturday and Sunday. The Rod & Reel Radio show will air on XTRA Sports AM570 between 8 and 10PM Sunday evening with their interviews.

Rick and Cindy run on heck of a show and it's a shame if you miss it. But just in case check out Rod & Reel Radio if you weren't able to attend or just if you missed speaking with you favorite bass pro.
