Wow, this is amazing, that this post does'nt have thousands and thousands of posts from folks that will be there and folks that are involved. Where are the Marina operators?where is Rick Grover?many of his customers fish the delta and surrounding waters, how come he doesnt become involved? because it's political?support your customers and they'll support you. Where is everyone?Bobby is asking you to step up!Do it or die wondering where your water went. Where are the regular WB posters that think thier cool! There are three websites with information for folks to use to get up to speed. They are:

Please check them out, get informed and get involved. Before it's too late.

Also, let your jet skiing buddies, water skiing buddies and any other folks using the Delta for recreational purposes know about what's coming down. Pass the word around to all. If they can't make the Rally then please start sending messages to your locally elected officials. It certainly can't hurt the effort.

great point. I come from a lake that was closed to public unless you have a cable system...now everyone talks TRASH about it and blames us few whow CAN fish that we are stupid and yada yada yada. When looking back at the people that showed up to those meetings and sent in requests it wasn't much...there were the LOCALS that stepped up and a small few from outside the area.

To see SO few posts on this is blows my mind. Now that a major issue is to in the works for the delta and the number of people using it and no responses...interesting.

NOW...if some so cal guy is to make a post about DVL or some of the other lakes in the area being low, guess who will talk trash....my point is a lot of people want to bad mouth OTHERS on here and not really stand up for the issues at hand.

Cmon guys....step it up. You know...if 4-5 guys could at least get boats back on Lake Casitas which seemed truly doomed...under the circumstances given, what could the people in masses in the Nor Cal area do to help things up there.

This is a battle to fight...so get out there and fight it.

If you are going to anywhere near the Capitol tomorrow around 11 am or so please come by and lend your presence and voice to this fight.

If you want to go and don't have a ride, use this forum to share a ride and get there. We need as many folks as we can get there.

Tournament guys, take a day away from perfish and come down and support this effort. Wear your colors and stand out as bass anglers, united!!!!

The rally down in Fresno for opposing forces drew out a ton of people. Many were farm workers being paid to be there, but not many are aware of that. All folks see are pictures of a lot of people. We need to combat that with some photos of our own.

It matters not if you are a jet skier, water skier, cruiser; whatever. This is OUR fight, all of us and we need you to stand up now before it's too late.

This is beyond party politics you have people from both sides of the aisle that have aligned with industry groups that want more water pumped south.

I joined CSPA back during the fight against the striped bass fight and will make another donation today, I wish I could make it to the rally tomorrow, but can't get off work.

Thanks Tony, Bobby and everyone else representing the bass fishing community at the rally tomorrow.

Arnold isa fake republican. its these enviromentalists that want the water to get diverted to help save the salmon and the smelt, and its the people down south wanting better water quality for themselves, also all the big farmers down south. if it wasnt for the liberals spending all the tax money wed be in a good shape, and the delta probably wouldnt have this probably wouldnt be happeniong right now because the delta would be in better condition than it is now

That is the one thing that is not being talked about is how much water goes south so that they can keep building were there is not enough water to support those communities. However read the info on the web sites. It is pretty clear who stands to win if this goes down. Big Ag. 5% of Cali. economy is still bigger than the gross national product of a lot of countries. If that number is correct.

Actually, the problem is this State and our "elected" politcians in general want to treat symptoms, rather than the actual cause. Why? Because special interest $ always cloud the issue. Everyone claims it's all about water. NOT TRUE it's all about MONEY, period!

Re-directing water from anywhere is not a solution, it's a band-aid, a quick fix at the expense of an entire Eco system. Imagine, our governing bodies, and laws they've put into action over the years will halt progress, and sometimes CANCEL entire infrastucture projects because a burrowing owl, or kangaroo rat live in a particular area, but now they are actually considering
the eminent destruction of an entire Eco system.

I suggest we all remember this when we next go to the polls!

I just donâ€™t see how the State of California can afford multi-billion ($15 to $20 billion dollar bond plus interest) on Peripheral Canal when we are broke. I grew up is Sacramento and I remember our State as being the number one State in farm produce and we did not have a canal then. In 1982 the State overwhelmingly rejected a canal, I have not change my mind. Why now â€“ you should look into the contacts for this water and the money. Look out for my interest! Also can you go the meeting of the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee and the Senate Natural Resources Committee regarding a host of water bills. Remember our State is broke please vote that way. I do look up how my Legislators voted and support the ones that support my view. Thank you Sir/Madam.

While your up there can you mention the $40 mil the governor and every Dem. wants to spend annually to ban fishing in the ocean with the MLPA's.

If we could only ban together we might have a voice. For some reason the boating and fishing industry doesn't seem to care, no one in the south seems to care if things get shut down up north, no one up north cares about the closures down south, and neither seemed to care at all when the whole California coast was getting shut down. As the MLPA's are starting to be implemented, I feel your pain. I just wrote my congressman and assemblyman and I hope it helps. Unfortunately, my state representatives are already on my side. If you live in a Democratic district, make sure you call and write your reps. (It's easy to do, just google state assemblyman and your city and his website pops up with and e-mail address and phone #). If you look at the voting #'s, governor shwartz and his Democratic allies are overwhelmingly for these closures and restrictions.

I just got back from the rally.It was a good showing lots of people showing thier support for the Delta.Bobby Barrack,sTony and KB was thier.Lot of other Bass guys thier to.We need to fight for the Delta guys so show your support how every you can.
