Lake County Warning
Just a friendly warning to make sure you leave your truck and trailers in a safe place while on the lake. I found that someone had tried to pry and break the tongue lock on my trailer, but the master lock won. Is there that big of a profit in stolden trailers? O ya I was parked at the fifth street ramp in Lakeport, I know better next time.

Re: Lake County Warning
Its the sign of the times I guess. With more and more people loosing their jobs, people are going to more drastic measures to make the bills that dont stop comming month after month. Too bad and I thought the 5th street ramp was one of the safe ramps to launch
never give up, be possitive and patient, and you will be rewarded

Wow!! I guess this is not a problem anywhere else. I guess I must be the lucky one. I guess I should be ok with it since the times are tuff on some people out of work and the price of crack going up. Maybe next time some crack head will just take the whole rig instead of beating the crap out of the tongue lock.
Re: Lake County Warning
So when the economy sucks, its OK to steal, lie and cheat?! I think the people who do that kind of crap do it because they have no values and no morals, not because they are out of a job. Even when the economy is good their not out there busting their butt at a job, they still out stealing everyone else's hard earned stuff.

You know honest people are honest people..Hard times do not turn them into dishonest people..No doubt there are a lot of people that are tempted when times get tough, but if they are truly honest people, they will remain so..
mac
Locks may keep honest people honest, for the dishonest the locks normally slow them down, but generally do not stop their dishonesty..

Re: Lake County Warning
Hey Brian,
I am glad they did not get it off !! I have heard of problems at Red Bud down south where I launch but I have never had a problem in 18 years of launching there, I always park my trailer as close to the ramp or a house or a tackle shop, maybe that helps and always cover up anything of value inside the truck.
I did get hit 4 years ago at Jones Valley launch ramp at Lake Shasta, my brother and I were parked next to each other and they hit us both, about $1600.00 total between the 2 of us, what made it way way worse was the Lady Sherrif who told me on the phone "Dang to I have to go all the way to Jones again" she said this to me on the phone, she said there were many many break in's up there but no warnings were posted anywhere.
10 trips to Shasta 1 break in, 200 trips to Clear Lake no break ins, I guess I am just lucky up there.

It happended to me at the state park here on the delta. Father's day put the boat in. When we returned someone had taken the ring of the trailer light and left the light on the rail of the trailer. Was supprise they did not take the whole light. Replaced them with screw in type rings
