2006 Nor-cal Pro-Am Championship??

Post by JT-Madera »

Just wondering if anyone knew where it would be held at..

Website keeps saying TBA

I'm just no longer interested in fishing tournaments that keep going to the Delta, Clearlake or Lake Mead in September, for their Championships..

Shasta or Oroville would be a nice change..

I live in central California and I still don't mind traveling up north for TOC'S... I'm just tired of tules and all that nasty grass getting on my prop, hehe,,, Give me some good old fashion rocks...and 45 ft deep fish...

Why would anyone go all the way to LakeMead in September anyway...no wonder their numbers dropped way off...It costs 2200.00 just for expenses to fish there of a week, not including all the money my wife looses at the machines...I'll go back to WON when they change their TOC,, which will proably be never...remember when they teased us by starting the rumor that the TOC and U.S. Open would be held at Clearlake...

Sure wish my health was good enough to fish four day tournaments, because the Everstart-Stren Series sure is looking better and better...

But Please don't even consider coming to Millerton "dead sea"
for any TOC...I would rather catch a 4lb five fish limit at Oroville than fish Millerton...

Just wondering,,,thanx for reading this ....

The Agreement between Nor-Cal and 100% BASS is that we rotate the TOCevery year. 2006 is Nor-Cal's turn to pick the lake. We also have an agreement that we do not pull a permit for the event until april or may. This way anglers know the region but not the lake. Based on past perfomances my guess is that Nor-Cal will choose a mother lode lake that the valley anglers enjoy fishing.

We have not selected a location as of yet, but yes Korny is correct. it will be on a Motherlode lake.

Looking forward to seeing some new faces in 2006.
