Yep, it's being replaced by the new Stradic CI4. Unbelievable unit,
and they've lowered the retail to $199! I WAS COMPLETELY IMPRESSED!

money not being an issue, which reel do you get: CI4 or sustain?

I think that's a question only the buyer can decide. Both are excellent reels, but I really liked the feel of the CI4. I'd look at both side by side then decide for yourself. The carbon frame and rotor on the CI4 really make a big weight difference though (much lighter), so if weight is an issue you'll have an easy decision.

weight is a big issue, but how much do i lose not having the SR concept ... is it a big deal?

ahhh.. decision made:) now i just need to wait for BPS to stock it so i can use some gift cards to pay for it. thanks for the input.
