No Sweat Mist??????

Post by Lugnut »

Just wondering if they are still around? The website is not responding and a google search only comes up with reviews, etc.

I am looking for something to spray on my boat before I wipe it down after a day of fishing. Any suggestions? I used some purple stuff once but not sure what the name is.
Don't ask about my username, all I need to say is check yours and check them often.

Buy a bottle of Blue Coral or Turle Zip wax in the 64 oz bottle.
Put about an inch and a half into a 22 oz spray bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Works great for wiping down your boat after fishing, and normally does not leave water spots.

I found this product called "Anti - Static spray" manufactured by Production car care products in Stockton and it is the best stuff I have ever used. I loved no sweat mist and this stuff is much better. it leaves your boat so slick it feels like you just waxed it. It never spots you can use it on glass, plastic, fiberglass it is great and it 100% will not strip your wax. Last time I purchased some it was like $13.50 for a gallon.

He'll sell you some Mona vie that you can spray on your boat/truck...Its pretty much magic, so I would imagine on top of turning you into a world class athlete in a matter of seconds, it would also do wonders on the exterior of your toys.

Try Peregrine 250. It works great. They also make Water Dog which will remove the white calcium deposits and hard water marks from your motor.

Their web site is http://www.peregrine250.com/.

If you would like to try some I will be at the Alameda County Deputy Sheriff's Tournament on Saturday, August 29th, at Russo's Marina.

Use Lucas Slick Mist. I just wrote a replay about the stuff under "boat soap and wax" topic. Works excellent and is pretty cheap!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned 303 Aerospace Protectant. I've tried No Sweat Mist and others ... but 303 just works.

I was researching some of these products and a lot of them have similar main ingredients. Google product name and msds and you can see the main ingredient. Some are a lot cheaper than others.

Yep, I think it's like a cottage industry where people are just private branding various generic formulations from OEM sources...

I have one good story about 303 protectant, I did the boat with it including the seats. Boat was pretty new back then, maybe a year old.

Filled out my iron ranger tag, and stuck my Sharpie in my back pocket, cap comes off during the day. (Did not not notice till dang near weigh in.)

There was Sharpie ink all over my pedestal, and the driver seat was a wreck.

It came right off due to the 303, it never did take a set.

Someone could come up with a similar marketing gimmick and have a generic formulation private labeled by an OEM to fill the vacuum...

You can start here:
