HELP Carbon Monoxide STICKERS

Post by rexford »

Anyone know were we can get replacement stickers? I
threw mine out not knowing I was legally obligated
to use them. I called the DMV and they don't even know
what they are. I would hope that our local rangers
might have some but they don't either. I don't want a
ticket cause I am stupid.. Maybe Westernbass.com could
leverage its huge user base to find someone who
could score some of these stickers for guys like me
who thought it was junk mail.

Darn it!!

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can apply for replacement stickers here:

Mike,

I did the same thing just tossed them, I found this link on the DMV site and ordered new ones, just fill it out and go down to the other list and order the stickers.

:  How bout putting all the lyrics to the Jim Croce song bout not tuggin on supermans cape etc. etc. on a sticker maybe that would cover everything. Just to be onery call and tell them you need a braille version for the days you take your buddy Stevie Wonder out for a boat ride and swim and your'e stuck until they make one. Should"nt say much I have to sticker my electric pontoon motor as a power boat up here.

I read through all of the info mailed to me by DMV. It looks as if it doesnt apply to outboards. It even shows a picture of a ski boat with a ski platform. I could be wrong. I also didn't see where it is mandatory to apply the stickers, just suggested.

Read the back of what the sticker came on, it says, "California law requires owner to place decal facing out on the exterior of the stern or transom."

Behind the other sticker it says,"California law requires owner to place decal in a location that is immediately visible to the vessel operator."

The governator signed this into law?

And here I thought those people in state capital/congress/senate were educated people.. Sure shows, along with other things they are doing, how wrong I have been. No common sense anymore in government. Bill K

Dont you feel all warm and fuzzy knowing all the lives these stickers will save? And what about the animals that gave up the skin(short fur?) to provide the sticky? Let see now,put where driver can see,....place near transom....thats whats wrong with the whole idea, Sacramento thinks the drivers holding on for dear life to the skag with one hand, and the 3 blade 24 pitch stainless prop with the other.
