Anyone tow with an FJ? and how does it do ??
The Govt's incentive sort of has me interested in the Cash for Clunkers program ~~ as my daily commuter truck ('95 Frod F-150 Ex-Cab LB with shell, $3.5k for a new front end with 2" over coils and shocks/brakes and tires about a year ago ... along with just paid regestratin for July- and smog this month just past 140k miles ) "Sort of" has my ears raised into looking into other vheicles.
I amconsidering ..... the Toyota FJ possibly with the 6-spd mannual tranny with full time 4-wd if it can be found. Or a VW Passat Wagon with the TDI engine ....

From what I've heard the FJ is the same running gear as the 4Runner so it will probably do fine for a tin boat or a 18ft and under glass boat.
