Trailor Bearings

Post by DeltaDan »

Are Trailor Bearings the same as automotive bearings ?

I have a flattened one now apparently as it is clunkng on every revolution. Just gona replace them all at the same time and go thru the brakes /have the rotors turned while I am in there as well.

By chance- would anyone have a part # ?

It is on a tandom axle Triton trailor - year 2000 with bearing buddies - not oil filled.

Thanks,
Dan

PS- Stonez ..... Where is your boat maintance forum ??

Dan your trailer is made from Marine Master and you should be able to call them and ask them. Have your serial number ready when you do. Don't have the number at hand but should be online. Drop me a line if I need to help you.

Thanks everyone for the replies - and the phone calls as well from World Boat Outlet and BrothA Burgess.

I believe I know where to go now - and will start by pulling the first/bad one off Friday after work. The bearing kits are fairly reasonable themselves in price from what I have heard so far....

Till then -- I will be on the water again morning and evening the next two days !! :D

Thanks Again Everyone !!

Cheers,
Dan
