WON needs to pull the trigger on some form of the internet feed... & Yesterday already. It was cool watching the FLW tourneys, but I do recall having poor lag time and performance issues.

You'd think WON would be all over it with all the striper derby and tuna events, trout, etc.

Live feeds are tough to do depending on location. FLW uses an upload to a satellite and its extremely expensive. Generally its cost prohibitive for most of us. And even they have poor results depending on where they are set up at to do the transmissions.

It's not like you can just put in your wireless card and start uploading raw streaming video. That'll get you shut down by your carrier very quickly.

There is also some question as to how many viewers you can accommodate and so on.

FLW Outdoors has much more budget to handle such treatments but even they have a tough time getting it to run smoothly for all viewers.

This isn't a shortcoming on WON Bass' part at all. But if you are truly interested in a live feed please respond here so Hutch has a gauge for how many viewers might be using a video up link and maybe they could later justify the costs.

Real time weights is very doable and doesn't cost anything really. But I gotta ask you Guy, do you really want to just sit in front of your computer screen waiting for it to update with a new weight every minute or two? Sounds like watching paint dry for entertainment.

I agree with you Guy. Somebody watching they weigh in has an Iphone or Blackberry. Won bass could pay them 25 or 50 bucks to load the results. I'm not saying after every angler, but at least the final results. The Iphone and Blackberry is the last resort. The lap top they use to record the weigh ins has all of the info. Post it when you get back to Sunset. It's almost 6 pm on the West Coast. I should know today's results for every Pro and Am. Just think about the guys that came from the east. Their friends and family have to wait for the next day. I'm not suggesting that WON does a live feed because I know that is expensive, but at least get the daily results posted timely.

Its just lame that you have an event that is up there with the Top events and FLW does a better job getting results with its BFL's. BASS and FLW have realtime with their Opens and Strens.
Its 4 hours after the weigh in and the Pros are posted but th AAA's are still not up

I know you need to eat but I really dont see what it so hard about getting the results up. Its only 3 days a year.

The AAA guys know exactly where they are!! They have the results printed and taped up in Sunset Station. Probably for 3 hours now..

The internet results take alot longer to get posted...

I prefished with a guy in a wrapped boat and it was hard enough getting waypointed by every boat that went by.

Then all doubt is removed. Oh well.

My thing is if you can put it on a wall at sunset station it takes the same amount of time to slap it on the website.... one more copy and paste, except AAA instead of PRO.

Then people ask why no AAA's want to fish. Gee can it be anymore clear that AAA's aren't exactly a high Priority?

Having a fun time but it would have been nice to know where I stood without driving to the other end of the city too see it.

They managed to get the pro side up. Just makes it a lot easier to decide when I consider dragging my boat this way next year.
