Everyone is getting antcee pancy,,,still the stripers are out in main channels. They haven't moved to shallower sloughs....When you see dew on your windshield in the morn'in...Then think about slammin them.
Im still hold'in on trips until then. Unless you won't E-ticket rides to San Pablo or Sac. Their com'in in, but in small schools. Its still an early morning bite for a couple of hours (Top).

I've read some reports, two as a matter of fact, from fullspeedfishing.com where guys are getting some in there drifting bluegill.

Way too early for em down that way FX, they are just moving in. There has been an awesome early late bite out west, really nice fish on that big White Punker! Schoolies also showing up over on the north end of Franks out in Washington and the late evening bite down around the Islands in Sandmound from Dutch out to Franks tossing traps and Hammers in the deeper cuts(12-18')fx21basser wrote:are they in there yet
The back end places where the shad school up at night have not drawn em in yet as the shad are not piling into those areas. You want a big one right now, go out west to the lakes of Sherman & BB, toss a big topwater bait and fish it with a slow, gliding, methodical retrieve and stay ready! Not a lot of fish on most days, but you can catch a brute of a life time if'n ya stick with it!

Re: Stripers in Disco ?
with the Holiday traffic I avoided the lice. Headed to sherman and busted a couple on the white punker. biggest only 6# but kept having big swirls on the bait. I couldn't get anything big to commit. There coming. Best bites were at first light on the incoming high. After the switch I got 0 bites for stripes. Fished for blacks the rest of the day best five went 18lbs.
