Wow. Wow. That is one big old brown. That thing could take out small children. Where can I get 10lb salmon swimbait? Wonder if it hit his lure or if it smoked a salmon he was reeling in? Imagine seeing that fish for the first time......

It's a nice fish no doubt...but I'd swear it looks like a 27-30 lb fish at best. No way that's a 40+ pounder in my opinion. I've netted several 40+ pound kings on the partyboats I've worked on, and this trout does not look like a 40+ pounder.

I could be wrong, but that's my opinion.

Marty will tell you it's 41.45 because it was on CNN.

Looks 40 pounds to me. I caught at least 10 salmon over 40 pounds out of the Sac and the Feather when the fishing was good and that fish looks every bit 40 pounds.

Or start flylining 3-5 pound largemouth bass like the long rangers do. A 5 pound largie would make a good trout snack...

So many times I see people saying stuff like that. I lost an 8 or I lost a 10.

Where do I buy this lost fish weighing scale? :D

There are some big trout hunters that catch some monster Rainbows up the American River above Lake Natomas. Some over 20 #, I heard on white Rapalas, at night.

WOW Thats a Huge Brown!!!

Hey do yall think its worth as much as the world record largemouth? I mean if it is then why would you say anything until the official title is yours?

My plan if I ever catch the WR LM I will keep it on the DL only calling a dfg official I would try to keep it alive (mouth to mouth if I had to I've been told I have a big mouth :D :D :D) and contact BPS and negotiate a deal that along with the million dollars I hold all the endorsement rights. Then I would secretely start call all the manufatures and start asking how much and I would do this from the rod, reel, line, shirt, shoes to my underwear :D :D :D :D :D by the time its all said and done I should walk away with a cool 5 Million dollars or MORE   :D :D :D

Hey we can all dream :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yea I know not fair, but hey is business and the Pros do it all the time :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

What would yall do if you caught the World Record Bass?
We know what Dulocus(sp) would have done and did    :D :D I can respect it I dont understand it but I can respect it :D :D :D :D :D
