Thanks Ed
Re: Whiskey Slough Ramp ?
Safe and the ramps okay......Just try to avoid the white Chevy truck's debris at the end of the ramp.

I agree with the others, ramp is OK, security is fine, cost is too much

Re: Whiskey Slough Ramp ?
Oh yeah I forgot 10-4 on that. Not only did he not donate launches he charged us for using the facilities when I didn't even see another boat even enter the place. Go to Tracy Oasis.......

Re: Whiskey Slough Ramp ?
actually Whiskey reduced our launch fee for the WW tournament down to $5 and Tracy Oasis paid that plus made a huge donation of tackle packs for all the boaters as a thank you for taking out the soldiers. Tracy Oasis really stepped up and help us out...... thanks Terry & Corrine.
I can't really say anything bad about Whiskey Marina. Thomas, who runs the marina, has treated our club pretty good and has never had a problem with us have club tournaments out of there.
And he even pulled out the great white chevy submarine with his tractor at no extra cost to us......lol

I don't know if he owns the place , but the guy who obviously runs the place definately treated our club like S@#$T,and clearley let us know we weren't welome , even after the whole club paid 100 % launch fees !!
Needless to say we won't be launching there again.

$15.00 to launch exact change only into the box, steep ramp, usually lots of weeds on ramp so it's slippery, not to mention the hole at the bottom of the ramp on your right as you are backing up trailer falls into when you are trying to put the boat on the trailer not fun. been there waiting to launch and they opened late and I know I was going to get my PB that morning
. use to launch my aluminum boat there but not my Ranger. oh yea be really careful if the aluminum dock is icy you will ski all the way to the bottom. never had any issues with security though.
Rivers End is great and $10 make shure you turn off your lights if launching in the dark thats the way we do it.
