did reaction innovations quit making the vixen or is it coming back in 2010 :shock:

The Vixen is no longer in production and not likely to be produced again. R.I. lost the rights to all their hard baits/products and they only produce the plastics.

i had heard that paycheck baits had purchased the rights but was not sure hadnt heard anything hope they did cause they have a great product out with the punch shirt .

Interesting, that would not surprise me. They control the rights to the RI BMF Hooks now. So many urban legends stories floating around about what's going on with RI.

I got a few of the barley legal ones at phills prop last weekend in redding. You can still find them in a few places, if you get the clear ones you can have them painted in the bone color everyone wants.

The tackle shop at clear lake by the red bud ramp may still have a few of the regular size ones.

I have a few vixens I might be willing to part with if someones want them. I also have a few barley legals and one new in the pack sitting on the shelf I'll let go.

Seriously how much of a difference is the River2Sea Rover than the R.I.Vixen?

Ive never even opened up a R2S Rover but in the package it looks just the same. 3 sizes compaired to 2.

trust me there is a huge diffrence. vixen is much better

Big differance

The vixen works so much better!

I bought a couple of the R2See and after a couple of uses they are in the used lure case. the colors looked good but I didnt like the sound and or the action.
