Looks like the new models coming out will not have extra spools. Plus they said the price is going up. Good news is the current stuff in stock is on close out, at least here in orangvale.

At wild sports they said all shimano and diawa for sure only come with one spool now. Even the ones that didn't change color. They said the new ones they are opening to display only had one spool. Might be bogus but it was a heck of a sales pitch. I got 2 diawa tierras and there saharas were under 50 so I picked up 2 of those for the Russian kid next door.
