Lost dog available for adoption.

During the windstorm we experienced a few days ago, a lost dog was found on my front porch. I'm unable to keep her. I've checked house to house for several blocks to find her home...no luck. I contacted the city pound in case someone checks there. I placed an ad in the local paper. Again, no luck. I took her to the vet to check for an internal ID chip..no luck. I've tried different no-kill shelters to see if they can accept her. They're all full! She was found without tags of any kind. If anyone is looking to adopt a dog, please consider this little girl. She is a black/white Terrier mix, approx. 15 lbs, very friendly with adults, children and other dogs. She appears to be very submissive. I think she is between 1-3 years old. If I can't get her a new home very soon, I will have to place her in the pound. Unfortunately, our pound in Manteca is a kill facility. My contact # is 209-239-8600. My sanctuary has also grown in numbers in the last few weeks. Up buy three to a total of seven dogs and 13 cats! Many of our neighbors, for what ever reason have chosen to part company with their animals friends and dumping seems to be the best option? You are doing a noble thing caring for the one you that came your way. Make sure she finds someone to continue that care!

If i was still out in cali i might think about a terrier but im in louisiana :S hope the little girl finds a home!
