Good Deal?
Good Deal?
I found this on Craigslist. I'm pretty sure the motor doesn't work or the guy would have said so and would probably be asking for more. The trailer looks pretty bad but then again the boat is in great condition and is only $500. What do you guys think? Obviously I'll need to do some work to it but overall, do you think it's a good deal? The size of the boat is not mentioned either.

What up Chaozu ! Looks like a good deal if the boat holds water(or doesn't leak) BUT . . .I'd be sure all the paperwork is in order, trailer seems "fishy",see if any #'s on it and call DMV,find out about registerring , also he shouldn't mind meetn ya at say Anderson , or Calero , ta verify hull holds up.

Re: Good Deal?
That's probably all its worth if the motor is shot. Trihull. You may want to check of dry wrought in the typical places. Looks like its needs new tires, trolling motor, and Registration. I say save your money and find a running one.

$3700 for a used trihull that will take you countless hours to make fishable. I didn't even mention electronics

Re: Good Deal?
At least this one is not a trihull. But you should review all the things I mentioned above. Run it on the water if you can. This boat is not worth it if any of the cylinders are dead.

Be willing to drive. I drove to LA to pick this one up.

He took 700.00, the boat is in awesome shape! Start looking in all the areas that are small and dont have many lakes or bass fishing around.
