Too many Tounament Orgs. in NorCal?

Post by BMX Bassin »

Are there too many orgs in Norcal? I think the overall tournament scene would flourish with about half the Orgs./trails. Maybe not get rid of them, but to combine half with the other half and put that extra energy into a tournament.

Only the strong will survive – The organization that is the most innovative and gives the best return to the Anglers will capture the market share and the others will fall by the way side.

You've got a few big organizations, a few medium organizations, a few small organizations and a ton of clubs= Saturday tournaments on every half decent lake from january thru October and beyond.

Part of me is interested in tournament fishing as a sport and realises that through public activities the sport grows and innovates. Part of me misses a quiet saturday fishing trip.

I think at least for California, alot of tournament activity is important for our political agenda...without the interest developed by tournaments our sponsors, and poltical organizations would suffer.
