Congrats Jim and Jeff! I am really happy for you guys. Hey Jim was it those secret baits you called me for from Berserk that assisted you, haha? Give us the story on the win. Congrats again.

Thanks everyone!
This was truly an exciting event for Jeff and I. We had already found 8 to 10lbs of limit fish the week prior to the tournament so our thursday and friday was committed to finding bigger fish. We spent part of our first day of official prefish driving to Modesto to have a new trolling motor put on as mine quit about half way into the day.
On the first day of the tournament I committed to the swimbait as Jeff was trying to get limit fish with "Berserk jigs" and drop shots.
Jeff put our first 5 fish in the boat by 8:00. We then committed the rest of the morning throwing swimbaits. We caught one around 8:15 and to our amazement it was a 9 pounder. "Thank you God" On day two we went for limit fish thinking an 8 lb bag could be enough. We caught our limit by 9:00 and had around 8.5 lbs so we tried the swimbaits again and caught 1 around 3.5 lbs. We put the swimbaits away the rest of the day and we just kept culling fish until we got our 10.76 lb limit.
I would like to add that Vince does a good job with the Future Pro Tour and his enthusiasm and passion for the sport elevates the excitement for the anglers. The most important part for me is the friends I have made along the way. Thanks everyone for the great memories and good luck next year. Jim Moulton

Not sure why this point is bothering you. You guys fished against Jim and his partner all year long. This is the first complaint we've heard here, aside from the other post that was removed.

I can MAYBE understand complaints about payback but putting the evil eye on Jim for winning seems a like a reach at best.

I understand its tough to finish 2nd anytime.

Congratulations Jim and Jeff!!!
