I have no idea about bluegill or crappie on the delta sorry. If your up for a small trip, the toulumne near 108/132 has massive bluegill in weedy coves..especially in the summer.

Let's see... Russo's, Disco Bay, Sand Mound Slough, Italian Slough, Big Break are just a few. Pretty much anywhere with docks is a sure bet. You just have to find the right ones preferably with X-mas trees in a bucket of cement nearby or brush. Heck when I lived in Disco I used to fish for them year round with a grub and 1/8oz darter head on spinning gear.
