Update on Cassie Iljin, my daughter

Beginning in the morning on Tuesday, Cassie started showing more and more improvement. Her level of awareness and alertness grew with every passing hour. She started to use sign language and point out letters on a letter board. The decision was made to turn the ventilator to the assist mode because she was taking more breaths than it was set at. After hours of unassisted breathing the Doctor looked at her stats and ordered the vent tube removed. Minutes later, it was as if a switch had been flipped on and she began to softly speak. Her first words to us were â€œI love youâ€

First I would like to say that this is great News, Mike every one hear in Vegas will continue to pray for Cassie and the rest if the family.
Just a note it makes me feel proud to be part of the fishing family when hard times hit every every one forgets differences and joins in. Vern
