What size should I order from cabela's if I wear a 1x should I buy a 2x or what size to fit over my clothes

Go by the length and waist size. I believe I got my pants in my actual size and went one size up on the jacket. If you go too large you will be swimming in your gear and water can get in.

I believe they size them really well, so dont worry about not having enough room. I can easily wear a wool coat under my parka, but remember the jacket (non-insulated) comes with a zip in and out liner.

Hope this answers your question, Cabelas is really good at returns too; when you get your gear try it on with what you would typicaly wear underneath (leave the tags).
