The Fishsniffer is on them...???!!! :)

It looks like we are just missing the boat here in this forum... :)

Delta Reports

East Delta
(Stockton) Fall fishing is going strong in the East Delta. Pluggers are nailing big numbers of stripers and black bass. The action is expected remain good well into the month of December, provided the water doesn’t get excessively muddy or cold.
“The good news is that we are catching a lot of stripers, but the bad news is that most of them are only running 3 to 8 pounds,â€
In the beginning, there was nothing, then suddenly there was something, then it exploded and turned into everything in the universe, all by itself. OR In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth.

Man you are so Full of it!!! according to your freaken post , the Striper should be jumping in the boat!!!! Thats all B.S if you ask me.... and Randy Pringle!! all I can say is Yea right!!  what are you catching your striper with?? dynimight and a snag net??? I've had only a couple of good days on the delta , and I'm use to getting alot of them by now. I think that the problem is like what everyone else is saying and that the Striper are'nt really here in full force because of the shade die off!!! Its been a real tuff season so far and its not looking to get better soon. I hope that i'm wrong. but your post is so is a joke!!!!! get real!!!

I just got back from a "EAST DELTA TRIP" I fished plugs,IMA bigsticks, persuader pop N walkers, persuader blt swimbaits, berkley hollow belly swimbaits, hopkins smoothy spoons, and many more, 12 rods on my deck and caught 1 yep one 7" striper. and everybody I talked to said they got skunked for today and last few trips out. hmm maybe I was'nt "EAST DELTA" enough. but I did catch a cold.

Professor?? says who ??? I'f I call myself a teacher, does that make me one just because?? He's never impressed me in anyway.. I remember when I heard him give a seminar at Dave's Bass Shack in Tracy, and I did'nt agree with half the stuff he said about the delta than. I use to fish the delta 3 to 4 days aweek, I even questioned one of his discussions.... he's just an average fisherman with sponcers if you ask me... No i'm not trying to offend him or belittle him in anyway either. he seems like a nice person. it just my opinion! i'm mean just read what he says... scroll up!!! everyone i've talked to ! And thats alot of people that are in the know, have been struggling for striper this year, sure I've had a few great days out there but nothing like last year and before. read how everyone else here on western bass is struggleing, than to come and read this garbage!!! I agree with what the guy before said...."Yea Right"

Sounds like typical "fish stories" to me.... more advertising and less actual legit information.

I was in the "east delta" yesterday, and between the wind and the water temps, the bite was not good. We had to really work for the few that we scratched out.

As far as the "big fish have not come in yet..." theory goes... I'm starting to think they may not be showing up at all. The water clarity out there is like fishing Lake Tahoe, which leads me to believe that there isn't much for food around. If there is nothing for them to eat, they are either staying in the Bay, or not there at all. I hope I'm wrong, but the theme of this year's striper fishing seems to be "Smoke 'em if you got 'em!"

Its over Johny!

saw that Pringle guy out there last year. We were fishing opposite sides of the SJ near stockton (mouth of calaveras). a boil occured and I hooked up on a good one....it ended up being around 10lb. Once I netted and released it, guess who was on my exact spot? It was Pringle.....never saw him move over.....he must have put his trolling mtr in high gear while I was fighting/landing the 10lb. Once I moved back over...he gave me a dirty look, so I asked if being a guide gives you special privileges like moving in on someone. He didnt say anything , but he did move off and move down the bank away from me.

All he had to do was make general conversation and we would have both been on the feeding school.

I've been catching fish in the 18-20" range on Rattle traps, only a few though.

All of the stripes I caught were in deep channel intersections....Mildred and Franks have been big zilch.
