I use State Farm but have not had a claim yet so I'm not sure how things will go when I do. I know at one point I will...but I have been fortunate up til now to avoid one. I have heard good things about the Vanderburg's...and I believe they are a board sponsor. Check the home page for their banner...

I am in the middle of my first claim (lower unit/gel coat chips/hull scratches) with them. The lower unit alone was $2300. Fiberglass is $2000+. Will let you know more.

Gayla and the folks at the main office are prompt, but it's the claims company (International Marine Underwriters) that I have concerns about. Hopefully this will be a smooth process.

I use Sawyer Cook and they have been great with me for many years and I have had more than 1 claim in my fishing years.

You are one of the few customers that carry a bonefide FCC (Frequent Claims Customer) card! It includes an express number to make claims for those times when you crash into the bank.  They must really love you.... lol...

If Gayla and I don't speak at least twice a year there is a problem  . She is a great gal and really knows her stuff and will help you with anything you need.

I use Progressive. Had them before on my cars, and had claims with no problems, even a total. For cars I now use Mercury, but the boat is still with Progressive. I have a metal boat now, so not much to worry about. :)

Angler's Advantage. Had a claim in the first few months that I had the boat, when some guys tried to steal the optimax from it in my front yard. All total almost 4000.00, in damage to controls and the motor. Rate even went down after the claim.

Progressive......

Was and still is great for me and I have a couple of boats insured. I was T-Boned (both truck and then boat) on the freeway on the way home from fishing Lake Perris. Progressive handled my claim very well in all aspects....others may be great too, you have to check into what it's costing for exactly what you'll get, which takes some research. I have an upgraded coverage amount that's needed for Mission Viejo but roadside assistance is now included too when I tow either boat and includes roadside assistance for the tow vehicle also.....piece of mind for sure.....bottom line, you have to compare for yourself.

The best in the business. Stan and Ken are bass fishermen who know exactly what we need and offer a very fair price. 1-800-BASSBOAT.
