I have a 26 on my 20x3 and love it. Better hole shot and much better top end. I tried several props before settling on this.

The Fury is exactly as advertised, at least for me. I had to replace my 25p Tempest when it threw a blade, and ended up getting the 25p Fury as a replacement. I picked up 1-2MPH top end, and the holeshot and responsiveness certainly perked up.

I've seen some reports where no gain was realized, so your mileage may vary. I'm really happy with mine, though.

I replaced my 25 tempest with a 24 fury. It was just what the doctor ordered. It gave me better holeshot. I have a Cat P3 and I can get 64.1 on my GPS with my 175 Pro XS. That speed is with just me in the boat. Two people is 61.0...I am very happy with the prop.

For anyone interested, the demo deal is a great way to try one out before you purchase... see Jim at C&C Marine, or Frank at Inland Marine, if you're up in this area and want to test drive the Fury.

We've had great success with this prop. I have personalty ran it on 3 boats and really seen a difference. I will add that in every case we have seen more MPH and a drop in RPM up to 325 on a zx 225 skeeter. The Triton it really calmed the chin walk down, the bass cat had the biggest gain 4.2 MPH gain. The prop almost feels like a 4 blade but doesn't have as much transom lift but it carries the nose a lot better. the skeeter was a blast to drive with this prop we are still playing with it we raised the motor 1/4 inch and got even more mph, still more to come. you really can see set up change with this prop. with the demo program is way cool you my want to go down a pitch size and try it it has worked for us.

I have a 2006 519vx with a 200 E-TEC H.O. with a full load it will gps @ 68 mph. I have had it up to 70 with just me in the boat. I am running a 24 raker 2 that was tuned up by Chris @ Phil's. My rpms at w.o.t. are 5,850 with the raker 2. I tried the 24 Fury and the only change that I noticed was 50 more rpm.
My suggestion would be to contact Chris at Phil's props, describe your current set up, and see if you can achieve what you want for $200 or so rather than $450. It's worth a phone call!

Good luck.

I have also tested the 25p fury on my rig. Noticed improved holeshot and a little on the top over my tempest. I will be purchasing one soon!

I will have to be the lone "Ranger" here. I tried a 24P Fury when they were first released, and unfortunately it did not perform as well on my 492VS as my 25P A45 Trophy, 25P A45 Tempest or my 24 and 26P Bravo 1 props. The holeshot was not as crisp, and topend was slower by about 1.5mph. I think the reason for my drop in performance comes from the smaller diameter prop. It takes a larger diameter prop to carry the nose of my 22' Ranger. Bow lift was minimal, where I was expecting it to pick it up better. I think on a shorter and lighter hull, the fury pays dividends, but for my big lead sled, the large 4 blade props give far better results overall.

I have the 24p fury and it is quicker out of the hole and about 2mph faster than the tempest plus was. Im curious to see how a 25p might handle. Hey jim how does the demo program work.

492slayer....You are not the lone ranger. I gained about 50 rpm, but my boat didn't get any faster. Also, I did not notice an improved hole-shot. I think it just turned more rpms. ???

I've run a Fury on a Z520 and Z21 and it worked better than the Tempest each time.

I just received my Z521 and plan to break it in with the Tempest and then run the Fury to see which is better. SHould have some results next week.

I have a 2004 520VX with a 225 Opti. Boat came with a 25P Tempest Plus. Tried a 26P Tempest Plus 'cuz 25P would occasionally get the rev limiter. Both props were stock. Same top speed with different rpms which I attribute to slippage. Obviously, the 25P had a better holeshot. Stayed with that one...for a while.

Now running the 25P Fury. Running 5550-ish rpm with two, 1/2 fuel load & full gear. Better holeshot & midrange response. Definitely more lift as I can stay on plane @ lower rpm/speed. Sure is nice when stuck behind a ski boat in a narrow slough. Better in turns, especially off speed turns, too. Top speed improvement was very minor for me. Maybe 1 - 1.5mph on GPS. Still other improvements made it worth it.

RBass, I agree. With the fury, the holeshot was slower, but seemed to turn alot of RPM's. I don't think it was slipping, just didn't pick up the stern like the other props.

Well I got back from trying out that Fury prop on my 201 Cobra Viper! :D Let me tell you :o , my Bass Boat ran almost as good as when it was new!!! the hole shot was very fast and the front of my boat carried alot better with this prop. I also noticed a difference in speed, my boat was alot faster but since I did'nt have a GPS with me, I could'nt tell you the difference. I will go out tomorrow on the delta with a GPS and let all of you know. As for the fishing, I got to New Melone's at about 11:30a.m and saw Trout jumping everywhere. I was the only boat on the lake or it seemed because there was'nt any boat trailer in the parking lot but mine plus I never saw anyone out there. I only caught 3 fish and lost 3 at the boat. I caught the first one on a morning dawn 4" worm "its a milky white with a pink tint on it with black flake" than I got bit and set hook on anothere fish using MMIII worm but it came unbuttoned at the boat. :x I went threw alot of othere colors just to see if I could find which worked the best for that time of day but only those two I mentioned worked for me.... I than Picked up a nice fish using a 1oz. brown/purple jig I had made myself with a yama trailer. keep throwing that jig to catch one more fish not much over 13 inches and lost two fish at the boat. I threw the jig in about 45 to 55 feet of water but also got hit in 33 feet of water but missed the fish. anyhow Good luck out there and stay warm. I will let you guys know how my boat runs with this fury prop and what speed I get afther I lift the motor up a 1/4 inch more.
