Cabela's Angler Cash Program

For those of us fishing FLW Series and Tour events, as well as some local circuits, Cabela's has a new contingency program starting Jan 1, 2010. No purchase is necessary and the rules and sign up can be found at the following link:

If you want to sign up for multiple circuits, just fill out the form and select a different circuit from the drop down each time you complete the form. Co-anglers are also eligible for contingency prizes in the Series and Tour events. The highest finishing angler registered in the program will receive a gift card in the amount of $1,000 in the Series and $2,500 cash in the Tour at each event. The highest finishing angler at the Forrest Wood Cup will receive $5,000 cash. In my area, the highest finishing angler in a Monterey Bass Company team tournament will receive a $250 gift card and $1,000 at the annual championships. Over $7,000 will be awarded to MBC anglers next year. In all the FLW events, a total of $55,000 will be awarded. In addition, if the angler winning the Angler Cash award bought their boat from Cabela's, new or resale, the angler will receive a $500 gift card as a bonus.

Take a moment to sign up, it doesn't cost anything. The manager at corporate responsible for the program promised me it will grow to additional local circuits if the participation warrants. Make sure your zip code is represented if you'd like to see a program like MBC in your area.
