Drop shotting, Which is better?

If drop shotting with braid, is it better to use a leader tied directly to the braid, or is it better to use a small swivel? What are your thoughts?

I tie a uni not to the braid floro combo. Works great and saves money.

If you're using spinning gear and realativly new to drop shotting, a swivel does help prevent against the line twisting on you, some people believe that the swivel absords some of the shock on those lite bites, and to be honest i did notice i could feel a little better once i started tying directly to my leader.
