just another new member

Post by jigginpig »

hellow everyone.

my name is Shaun Solomon, i live in Denver, Colorado.

i would love to talk to Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah anglers, maybee we could trade fishing trips? i am in to big fish, and love to haul water looking for a big bite. some lakes in Colorado i would love to fish would be Connected, Highline, and Echo Canyon.

Utah lakes would be Pelican, Quail, Sand Hollow, and Gunlock.

New Mexico lakes, Sumner, Santa Rosa, Bill Evans lake. being a jazz fan, i would also like to re iterate that..."Everyone Digs Bill Evans"

i fish and am somewhat familiar with Quincy, Aurora, Carter, and a few other metro and front range lakes. would love to take ya out.

i have a tiny boat, a 12' v, and it has fore and aft electrics, no gas. so i am limited in the size of water i am safe to fish. 1200 acres or less is best.

also, i know this is not exactly in the states covered, but anyone have anything to say about lake Alan Henry in the panhandle? i am thinking about a spring trip...

look foward to meeting y'all.

Hey I think i know this guy.Yo Shaun it's me Sean.

This is a great board but I really haven't noticed any guys from Utah,NM, and CO on here. It's the hang out for a lot of Delta and Clear Lake heads and guys up Nor Cal in general.Awesome site filled with great info.

From what I have read multiple times over on texasfishingforum is that ol Alan Henry has seen better days and that spots are begining to take over the lake. It's nothing like it was in it's heyday.

We gotta hit up Echo Canyon for sure.

Welcome to the boards! I'm afraid most the folks here are Californians though. I've never noticed anybody from Colorado here, but I guess I can't say that now!

Great mix, bass and jazz, though I was the only one. Long live the church of John Coltrane!

Shaun, I used to live in Longmont, a lot of good fishing around that area with several different species to go after. If you want to get into some good fishing look up Jeff Colwell in Winsor. He owns and operates Front Range Outfitters, mostly hunting for geese and ducks but he also does a lot of fishing. He has been on the Colorado State fishing team as well. Tell him Russ from California sent you. He and I used to fish a lot together. Another good place is the Centinnial Bass Club in Fort Collins, alot of really good guys and they can help you out too.

milehi, not only do i fish bass, i play bass! i listen to all types of music, but jass is hard to beat. i love the fact that N.Mexico's record fish is from "Bill Evans"lake!

sTony, i dont have any fishing friends, i am a rare duck in my neck of the woods... well, i know a few folks, but i tend to fish solo.

anyhow, waiting for the thaw. Grolsch, lets get it done bro. i need to show you the bait i am working on, pretty good for my standards!

what year(s) did you fish with those guys? i was a member of Centennial, and know Jeff C.

i am not really interested in clubs or tournaments...OK, i suck at tournaments. but of the clubs i have been a member of, CBC was the most fun, and had the lowest levels of whining.

Jeff is an awsome stick, and very good with a topwater. i would have got rookie of the year, but Ben Lind had to stomp me with his spinnerbaits...

Shaun it was 1990 to 1992. I wish I was still back there, may be coming out this summer. If I do how does a little tiger muskie fishing sound?

bring it!

i have been intending to go for essox more, because i got a couple of good sized baits, and the way i look at it, why not blank for two seperate species?

i have a solid idea where we could poke some tigers. one option would include the chance for trophy LMB & SMB as well...

the last time i went, i got a ton of follows from 30" to 40" 'skis and stuck a couple medium LMB on a super ugly custom tripple joint Slammer i did. looks like "sexy wahoo"
