Absolutely disgusting.

Leave now. POS criminal senator from my home state.

WASHINGTON – Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd, a five-term Democrat whose political stock began falling after the financial meltdown and his failed 2008 presidential bid, has decided not to seek re-election in November, Democratic officials told The Associated Press early Wednesday.

That seat belongs to Peter Schiff. Dodd didn't want to get into a debate with that guy.

The DNC knew Dodd was a loser and they needed to clear his seat so they'd have some chance of winning it again in November.

The DNC and this hapless, failed adminstration realize they are in deep, deep trouble and are doing two things before the 2010 elections; 1) identify and force out any seats in jeopardy of being lost to up their chances of possibly retaining the seat and 2) get as many legislative items passed as possible (no matter how bad they are) using whatever means necessary (ignoring constituents, paying for votes, backroom deals, non-standard, opaque bill reconcillation).

Joe was right on the money "you lie" was a more than accurate assessment. He just spoke a bit too soon and it looks like he was far, far too kind.

Anyone who voted for this buffon, celebrity in the whitehouse guess what, you were suckered and he's playing all of you as the fools. Congratulations fools.

That's a shame. It will give Schiff a harder fight.

I heard Schiff comparing politics to pro wrestling in an interview with regards to McMahon.
They come off as arch enemies on stage and go to dinner together after the show.
The great non sequitur committed by defenders of the State, including classical Aristotelian and Thomist philosophers, is to leap from the necessity of society to the necessity of the State.
