Cleaning your jackplate?
Cleaning your jackplate?
I remember a thread about NOT polishing aluminum jackplates. I couldn't find it when i did a search. I want to polish up my hydro jacker jackplate but i dont want to ruin the finish. What do you guys use to clean your jackplates? Thanks

Re: Cleaning your jackplate?
I just cleaned mine a couple of weeks ago on my Basscat,I used the Eagle One "ETCHING" wheel cleaner, this stuff is amazing. My plate had alot of brackish water stains on it.I went over it two times and now it looks new! Make sure to do this in the driveway.
Spray it on,let it sit for 30-60 seconds, they wash off with the hose using high presure.I wore safety glasses just to make sure. This stuff is really powerfull.

This thread just sounds dirty.
