Ray Vancore RE Folsom

Post by RipnRog »

I have been trying to figure out what is going on at folsom. I drive by and see all of the equipement on the inside of the lake and the latest information I am getting is they are lowering the lake more to pour footings for the spillway. I am being told that the lake will not fill this year as they want to get things completed asap. I am told that once completed the lake should not fluctuate more than 10 feet in a year as there will be no need for a draw down with the new spillway....

What inside information do you have.... The reason I ask is if Folsom ABA is a no go I want to let everyone know asap..... I am getting the run around except from a few friends with some inside knowledge.

Hey Rip, 365 is the lowest from what I heard today while chatting with the buoy tender. Storms are lining up and we're gonna get hammered in the next few weeks.

All the lakes should be on the rise by February 1st.

did you hear anything about the max they will raise it.... I am hearing that it will not get over 410 and it will fluctuate around that level.... it scares me to run a circuit with the level always running around being 5 mph.

Hey Rodger, i speak for myself and probibly a lot of others. I would rather fish a 5 mph event in feb. than a full event in june or july and have to deal with all the water lice.....my 2 cents
