Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone's New Year was great. I was fishing this morning from the shore at Lake Casitas after a small trout plant. I was throwing a big swim bait and got a huge blow-up and missed the bass. But it gets better or worse how ever you look at this. I watch a kid throw a live night crawler on a nice baitcaster .Two seconds after he put the rod down , it took off like a rocket and a nice 5 pound bass was crashing the surface and the rod was in tow. It stopped after it was 50 to 60 yards out. So beware of a bass with a fishing rod at lake casitas. tight lines Chief
