Yes. I did not double check the bag when I walked up a weigh-in
at the Reno Open on Almanor about four years back, dumped the fish into the holding bin, saw 6 fish, picked them up and said I know and walked off.
Can not blame my partner, who put them into the bag, I should have helped/double checked them alongwith him.
How we had 6 in the livewell, I do not know, but we did. DUMB, dumb move. Bill K :(
Fun fishing the country, each and every week.

I did it at Clear Lake at National Guard tournament! I did it on the first day – It was an easy 20lb bag. All I wanted to do was find a hole and crawl into it!

I was in back of a guy during a drive by weigh in and watch him put six fish in a bag and walked up and dumped them on the scale. He looked like he wanted to die because he would have won the tourny. :?

I did it at a WON BASS Pro/AM I had my AAA checK the live well just before we went into the five mile zone at Big Break, because I thought I had forgot to throw my overage back on my last fish..dumb, dumb, dumb..when I put the fish in the "bags" I had six fish in five bags....dumb..I went up to the scale and weighted them just to see what I would have had..27lb's without the sixth fish....dumb...it wasn't the AAA's fault it was mine...dumb.

I remember fishing the flw cup and david fritts had six in his bag. The sad part is he would have been in the top three on the first day.

I don't like this question.

Its like a train wreck and I have to tell. Caught the kicker fish on one of the last casts of the day...forgot to cull, guess we were excited. Not only did we lose out on the win, but we also hosed ourselves out of big fish.

The really bad thing is we ended up culling our 5th the very next tourny  I bought a culling system after that!

I did it too. I had a newbie with me and the wind and currents were ripping. I let my partner pull the fish out and put it into the bag. Didn't know till the weigh-master pulled out the 6th fish! Arrh! :)

At clear lake at cold WON bass toun. in 1996 my aaa went out to release our fish while I got the tow vechile. I loaded up drove back to LA, the next weekend I went to another tourn. and open my live well for an inspect. and there was a 5# er very smelly in the live well, very embarrassing.

Never dq'd for weighing them, but I have had too many in the boat on the trailer. DQ'd myself for too many in possesion.

Its easy to happen with all that green fish saver formula, or when the river turns to mud. Some livewells are dark in color, and don't have lights.

Probably the most infamous livewell is that old front Ranger one. Its easy to miss a fish trying to count them up there.

I can think of two Mike Andrews on the last day for the FLW a couple of years ago and Bobby Barrack in a WON Pro Am at the Delta, it cost him a boat and a free trip to Mexico.

i've had a night tournament when we happened to have 7 in the boat as my dad and I got a double hook up on cranks... we threw them in the livewell as one was a BIG one and the other was smaller. I told my dad we had to release 2 fish. I heard 1 splash, 2 splashes, and then a 3rd splash! I lost it!!!!

thankfully we were able to put another fish in the boat within the last 30 mins of the derby!

As a TD I had an angler come to the scales with no fish and he told me he had 6 in the well and had to DQ himself. Class act IMO

Haven't weighed in six but I did pull out a dink to cull last year and threw the 3 pounder back instead. Boy I wanted to take that one back.
