Working the NEW Swimming Super Fluke

Post by Wild Bill »

Not the regular Zoom "Super Flukes", I am talking about the NEW ones with the boot-tail on them, the SWIMMING Super Flukes.

How are you guys rigging and fishing them ?

We got ice on my waters still, so it'll be a while before I am fishing here.

Clue me in, please ,

Those things look pretty darn good. Kinda funny it took them that long to come up with that idea...but they thought of it before I did

They look pretty cool but kind of the same paddle tail as a lot of others. But you know as soon as I can I will add this to my bag of tricks, lol.

I'm excited about this bait, not for bass though. I'll be using these in the salt, for Halibut. The regular flukes are one of my go-to Halibut baits. Can't wait to try these ones.

For bass fishing, these look like a good chatterbait trailer or swim jig trailer. I've had good luck slow rolling swimming senkos T-rigged with a pegged bullet, so these will probably work well for that too.

I have not fished them yet .
I am thinking that belly-weighted EWG hooks or belly-weighted Cork-screw hooks may be the way to go with these.

The belly-weighted EWGs have worked well for me with the SwimSenkos.

I am also thinking the Swarming Hornets may work well with these , as well.
