tow vehicle??????

im looking for a tow vehicle... under 5k.. im going to be towing
a 18 foot ranger...

what would you guys recommend i tow with...

i was was looking at jeep cherokee, explorers, or ????

any help would be thankful..

Basically if your just looking to tow around a boat and no trailers, RV's, etc then you don't need a huge 250 or 2500 or anything close to that. any of the 90's to 2000's small block pickups would do great a v8 would be best but of course you wont get as good of MPG, but they will defiantly do the job without and problems and there generally cheap to buy i.e. craigslist
