CBAF McClure Team Event

Hello Bassers!!

Just a reminder that the CBAF Lake McClure team event is fast approaching. We will be fishing out of Barrett's Cove on February 27th. Launch will be at first safe light. Dinner and awards will be at Lake Don Pedro Baptist Church following the weigh in.

This tournament will feature a theme of "KEEP THEM WARM". We will be collecting new or lightly used coats for distribution to those who are in need. We encourage as many of you as possible to participate, as this is a very great need in the area.

I hope you go, to or call, all the places you put flyers up and change this tourney date. I was at C & C Marine just yesterday and their flyer is still showing your first tourney at McClure This Saturday (Jan 30th).

Harry - Thanks for the info and I will call C&C this morning to check it out. I'm wondering if this is our flyer as we have never had this tournament scheduled for January 30th. We did move it back 1 week due to a DFG mess-up, but that was from Feb 20th to the 27th. Anyway, thank you for your concern and I'll check it out.

To Turkeyman.... McClure has regulated times that you have to follow for blast-off's in the morning. Once that time has been met it's petal to the metal (no 5 mph limit on lake).

Yes I know, they lift the 5 mph band at published sunrise, safe light is a lot earlier, just wanted to make sure.

Harry - I have solved the mystery....

Richard Antonucci at C&C Marine said that the flyer you saw at their shop is for the Christian Bass League, not the Christian Bass Anglers Fellowship (CBAF).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I look forward to seeing you at the CBAF tournament on Lake McClure on February 27th. Please don't forget to bring a new or slightly used jacket (if possible) to donate to those less fortunate than ourselves.
