Post by RMANZO »

I know what you mean about the smallmouth in Don Pedro it is just crazy how many quality smallmouth there are .
As for the quality Spots i caught a 8.27lb in there a couple of years ago and released it , might be a new world record swimming around in Don Pedro as we speak . :D
Seems like alot of nice Spots are being caught at all the lakes this year . :D

My friend Garrett and I were prefishing for the CBC and we had 15 fish and only two were largies, rest smallies and spots. Biggest spot at 3 lbs. biggest smallie 2.5lbs. Sure was fun at Pedro, hope Pedro will turn into a Beryessa with quality spots, largies and smallies

There were 6 spotted bass caught at eastman in 2009 and all were returned too the lake from what ive been told so it looks like in a few years there my be some nice spots being caught there. Once they take a foot hold there or any lake their no stopping them.

There is alot of people that don`t know the difference between spots and largies,or smallmouth for that matter.....are you sure, or is it rumor???

Fact 2 of the angler live in madera and they know the difference for sure. Somebody been busy transporting fish too both lakes. And if they keep it up it will soon get out of hand.
