First time to Oroville

Can anyone give me any pointers to Oroville? Where the ramps are to launch? Hows the fishing been there?

There are two exits off Olive Hwy. going East off Hwy 162. Signs will tell you, one goes to the dam, which has a ramp and the other takes you to Bidwell Marina. Water is rising, fishing is ok. Try reaction baits, small plastics and jigs

Depends on where you are comming from, take the Oro Dam exit (east) and go to Olive Hwy and make a right. Go to KellyRidge Rd. and go left, there will be signs to the bidwell launch ramp which as of now is the only ramp open. Fish slow with soft plastics most of the day. Don't listen to Bruce as he kicks tail on this lake and is pulling your chain. The fishing is okay but will just keep getting better. Good luck...
