Do you guys know when the other resorts are going to open under the new ownership (ie Berryessa Marina, Knoxville, Putah)? Hopefully by summer at least!

Thanks!

If you're a senior (65+), the charge is $10.00 However these rates along with the $15 go up in May to $25

Last word I heard like a few weeks ago Pensus, the company that put in the bid which is from AZ got the ok but no contracts have been signed, and they only bid on 6 cuz pleasure cove was not in the mix

also there is issue with the water treatment and/or waste water if someone doesnt take that over....so who knows how that will play out

feds did kick down a few mil from stim package but that was awhile ago

I dunno if I would count on a summer opening... but u cant make money if ur not open for biz, so u never can tell what an investor can get done

I was up there Monday and stopped in at Turtle Rock after fishing. Talking to one of the bartenders, I learned that the "local knowledge" seems to think Pensas is in bed with the operators of Pleasure Cove. Hence, I would expect that there will be a certain amount of price fixing involved with launch fees if & when Pensas actually starts operating up there.

Naturally, you can expect Markley to recognize an opportunity to price their fees competitively. My thought is if Pensas sets theirs much higher, Markley will surely follow suit and raise their fees accordingly.

I hope not, but you never know.

I recently heard that markley had lost it's lease option and would be closing under it's current ownership. I have not heard if it will remain open under someone else.

Markley was included as one of the six that Pensus put the bid on that looks like its a go ahead this year.

I was at the lake over the weekend. I pulled into what "used to be" Berryessa marina. The buildings are almost completely destroyed and the the docks are partially on the bank. Dont expect this place to open anytime soon. Its a ghosttown!

the demo was supposed to be what the fed money was gonna go towards in part at least

the demo and prep for the new resorts, rv parks hotels cabins marinas launches- their plan is not to "take over" whats there but develop the recreation area

right now word is the contract will be ready for signing much before april.... wi th all the big ideas i dont see how it wil be ready prior to this summer

plus they still got that whole water treatment wastewater situation to agree upon

it sure could be a nice place hope it all works out
