We are a couple days from the Northern Region Opener at Lake Berryessa, Pleasure Cove Marina. We will take early sign ups at Berryessa Sporting Goods Store in the town of Winters (about a half of a mile from 505 on the right side past the Chevron station) on Friday afternoon from 4 to 6 PM. This is NOT mandatory, it is a convenience for anyone who wants to sign up then. You will receive your boat number then all you will need is your boat to be checked by our staff. You can launch on any part of the lake and boat over as I will have staff on the dock to sign you off. If you do not sign in on Friday, and you decide to launch at a different ramp, you and your partner will need to tie your boat off at Pleasure Cove and come up to sign in.

We will begin checking in boats at 4:30 AM at Pleasure Cove next to the store, which is next to the launch ramp.

There is phone service at this location once you come through the gate. There are areas that has poor or no coverage but for the most part, there is service.

It looks to be a great event from the phone calls and the pre signs we have received, I recommend arriving early. For the anglers who are fishing other divisions, this is a good opportunity for a cross over, the bite is good and this lake has large mouth, small mouth and spots plus the chance for a toad this time of year are good.

wow this should be a good tourney. all this warm weather should get the big girls going. hope the rain holds till sunday
