Sonora Bass Anglers lose one of their own
Sonora Bass Anglers lose one of their own
Yesterday, We at Sonora Bass Anglers lost our long time Secretary/Treasurer & most importantly friend Jim James to illness. Jim was one of the founding members of Sonora Bass and he will be missed. Jim also fished out of Riverbank Bass. Jim was a fisherman who fished hard like a competitor should but still wanted to see others catch fish including the teams that were learning how to fish at the club level. For me, from the day I joined the club he constantly encouraged me and my partner and was always willing to give tips and ideas. Rest in peace my friend.

Dang It! Our Prayers are with The James family and those who knew Jim! A longtime Motherlode angler that truly taught anglers to have fun and success...

Hey everyone, I haven't been around for a while. I have been out on the sidelines working on my business I received a call this morning that Jim had passed. I would like to say that Jim was one of the greatest guy's I have ever met. He was a genuine nice guy. Talking to him at club meetings and outings was a pleasure. He will greatly missed.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jims passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. I came to know Jim thru the Riverbank Bass Anglers and saw him as a true competitor and friend. You could meet Jim while fishing a club outing and he would tell you what he was catching fish on even though he wanted to win. People like that don't come along often. Rest in peace my friend. Me and my wifes prayers and thoughts are with Jims family and friends.

wow. I had no idea Jim was ill. I'll remember Jim as a great guy, always greeting you with a friendly smile. Last saw him in the 4th of July parade in Columbia a few years ago having a great time. Man, that greatly sours my day. Thoughts and prayers out to his family.

This is truly sad news. Jim was a real gentleman and an excellent fisherman. They will be biteing for you in the big lake in the sky Jim.
