I got a few samples from my rep lately and the points still roll over.
They are sharp.

Don't waste your money. I tried them out and the tips rolled over twice in, in one day. I lost both fish. They where the 4/0 ewg. Stick with the GAMA's, unless I fish against you then I'll give you a pack of the Trokars :D

Really? I didn't know that at all.

I know the guys who designed it (the doctors). I've fished them for a year few years now (since before they hit the mark) and I haven't had any issues.

No sponsored or anything...just my experience.

I love them w/o a doubt. I still have my same 4 from a few years ago. Its hard to bend them and they stay razor sharp for me.

I think it depends what you are using them for. They are very sharp and I have heard others say that the points roll but I know swimbait guys that only use Owner's because they feel Gamakatsu's points roll. I think it depends on how you are rigging as well as application. I use their drop shot and flipping hooks, really like them and have had no problems. They penetrate great and are strong. You can always buy a pack and form your own conclusions, opinions always vary.

are these Eagle Claw's wearing Owner pants?

i am thinking EC must make them, because of the "Laser" thing, pretty sure that is an Eagle Claw trademark, and Gerald Swindle is/ was an Eagle Claw pro.

pretty sure i will keep fishing Owners, but it was a real nice effort.

They are ok hooks, but they have such a thick diameter, I never saw the reason for the $$$$$. I am a Gamakatsu guy through and through, and the Trokars had a lot of hype, but I personally believe they are not worth the price.
